1901 Singer Model 27 with the Sphinx decals

This is a 1901 Singer model 27 with the decal pattern called "Sphinx".  It is shown in a base that was recently made for use when cleaning and oiling machines and not in an original Singer base.  This is a nice example of the early machines, although there is wear to the bed.
