Simply Art © Cross Stitch Patterns My Simply Art (c) Cross Stitch Pattern charts are either charts of my original artwork, or developed as a new art piece on its own. My many years as a fine artist is the foundation for my cross stitch pieces. My patterns are now available for immediate purchase and download with payments by Paypal. Each pattern is set up to be purchased separately, and after payment, you will be directed to the appropriate link for the pattern you have purchased. Please see the individual pages for details. Please note - When I design my cross stitch patterns from my original artwork, the professional way in which I design the chart usually results in a chart with a large number of colors. These charts are marked for the "advanced" needle worker, as it may entail many colors with few stitches of each color. Charts that I develop specifically for fast completion or few colors will be marked for the "average" stitcher. Many of my original art pieces are in pen and ink stippling - a very time consuming layering of tiny dots. Patterns from my ink pieces may be termed as being for those who wish to "paint with thread", as I try to keep the colors as accurate as possible to the original drawing.
My fine art pieces are only available as cross stitch patterns as purchases through this website. The same is true for my original cross stitch designs. No licenses for my work have been issued. By my retaining this artistic integrity for my work, it allows you, the cross stitcher, to create your own piece of art from my drawings, paintings, and designs. Your finished cross stitch item would be considered a "derivative" from my original art or design, but the copyrights to both the original piece and the cross stitch design remain mine. None of my designs may be used for commercial purposes, and all use is for the purchaser's personal use only. Designs may not be copied or integrated into other designs.
