"Saint Nicholas No. 1" Pattern Chart

 Stitch count 70 wide x 100 tall

12 colors

Design and original art copyright (c) 2009 laeom

The real Saint Nicholas was a Bishop from Myra, Turkey.  I designed this chart to reflect what he has come to represent, a love of God, protection of children, and the gifts of love.  This chart is a counted cross stitch chart designed specifically to be stitched in DMC brand's Linen Floss. It is shown on a background of white colored cloth, but would also be stunning in it's simplicity on linen.

I recommend this chart for the average-skilled needle worker.

The grid is sized at 14 stitches per inch, with a finished design size of 5 inches wide by 7.14 inches tall. The stitch count is 70 wide x 100 high. If you wish a different finished size, follow the chart for stitch placement, but use a different stitch count fabric.

DMC embroidery floss is what I recommend to complete this chart.  Recommended colors are included with this chart.  The chart is in full color with symbols printed over the color blocks, and prints at 10 squares per inch for ease of reading.
