Simply Art © Simply Basic © Cat or Dog Sweater Knitting Pattern Small - Circular Needle
Design (c) 2009 Laurie A. E. O'Meara This pattern uses one circular needle (in two different sizes) to knit the majority of the sweater, with the leg-holes and back being knit with straight single-point needles. The cuffs are finished with either a third length circular needle or four double-point needles. The result is a simple yet functional sweater that a cat or small-sized dog can walk or run comfortably in. My cat has these sweaters, and perhaps because she is a former stray, she appreciates the warmth and comfort the sweater provides. She wears these occasionally, and because she is an indoor cat, only while indoors. An elderly cat may also appreciate the added warmth of a sweater. Please use supervision when placing any sweater on your pet cat. The lower half of this sweater will fit the body for almost half the length of the animal.
