Half-Finger Gloves Knitting

This is a basic pattern for a pair of easy-to-knit half-finger gloves in a Woman’s Medium size. These are knit with straight needles, in a worsted-weight yarn, for a functional glove in the half-finger style.
The sample gloves are knit with Lion Brand Fisherman Wool in the color “natural”, and Lion Brand Wool-Ease in a plum and a green color for accent.

Materials Needed to complete the pattern:
Sizes 5 and 7 single point needles Worsted-weight yarn, 3 ounces total (use is closer to 2-1/2 ounces, but rounded up) One 4-inch stitch holder Two stitch markers 1 Tapestry needle for sewing seams
Stitch knowledge required:
Knit, increase knit-wise, purl, bind off. |
