Super-Bulky Hat Knitting
Pattern
This pattern is for a very easy-to-knit basic hat pattern using "super-bulky weight" yarn and one circular needle. All knitting is completed with one circular needle for the basic hat, but I have also included a second finishing method using double-pointed needles if less bulk at the crown is desired. This is a wonderful basic hat pattern, with the hat having a finished circumference of 20 inches - this will fit people with head sizes from 19 inches to 21-1/2 inches. Anyone from children to teens to adults can wear this hat. The sample hats above were knitted with vintage Brunswick bulky yarns and hand-spun Navajo-Churro wool, held two strands together, but any of the new, modern super-bulky weight yarns may be used. If desired, two strands of bulky-weight or four strands of worsted-weight yarn may also be used.
Pattern Price: $4.00 each. Patterns are available for immediate download. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the "pdf" file, a free download here.
