Cam Chart
This chart has the 400 models shown, but they are the same cams as for the 500A and the 503A, and some other slant-shank machines. There is a difference in the appearance of the stitch selector knob between the 400s and the 500A, follow the instructions in your manual for the knob combination setting (s). Note the "top-hat" shape of these cams, as there are flat cams for the Singer models 306, 319, 328, and 348 that will not work in a 500A. I have left this page very large for ease of reading.
